C.O.D. Tire Distributors fué fundado en 1985 en la ciudad de Mayagüez por Juan R. Pérez (James). Relacionado en el negocio de neumaticos usados este era un producto desconocido para muchos automovilistas.

Algunos pronosticaron un fracaso rotundo, cuando llego el primer contenedor de gomas usadas de buena calidad algunos decian que yo estaba loco ¿Quien iba a comprar gomas usadas si habian gomas nuevas?.

Comenze a vender y hablar con gomeros y venderles al por mayor y al detal con un gran exito, tanto asi que hoy día somos el distribuidor de gomas usadas preferido en Puerto Rico. Tambien vendemos por contenedores gomas nuevas y usadas a otros paises directo desde Europa, Asia, E.U.A. entre otros.

Importamos y exportamos en los Estados Unidos, latinoamerica. Hemos adiestrado a futuros gomeros que tambien compiten con mi compañía y seguimos ayudando. Fundamos la Asociación Nacional de Gomeros (ASONAGO), fuimos co-autores de de la ley de manejo de neumaticos #171 de Agosto 1996.
